Support for Mist Development and Deployment - 2025

Project description

The project's primary objective is to support the deployment and continuous improvement of the Mist tool, a software platform designed for methane emissions management in the oil and gas sector. Since the launch of Mist 2.0 in early 2023, the tool has rapidly expanded its user base, now being used by over 40 companies. The project aims to facilitate the creation of credible methane inventories, enhance corporate methane management practices, and ultimately drive mitigation actions by equipping companies with both the necessary technology and knowledge. The initiative emphasizes capacity building, international reporting alignment (such as OGMP 2.0), and the integration of advanced features to address evolving industry needs.
