With limited time remaining to reach the Global Methane Pledge targets, there is a pressing global demand for more methane experts, yet the current workforce in this field is insufficient. To help address this issue, Carbon Limits provided a one-week intensive methane training program tailored for relevant staff members from grantees of the Global Methane Hub. This program comprehensively covered all aspects of methane management in the Oil and Gas sector, equipping participants with the necessary tools to engage with various stakeholders and grasp the primary challenges and opportunities. Special attention is given to ensuring that the content is accessible to non-engineers. The pilot program took place in Oslo, with plans to replicate the training in additional locations in the future.
