Methane & Gas Flaring Regulation Advisory for Emerging Oil & Gas Producers in Africa, Asia & Latin America

Project description
Many emerging oil and gas producers lack regulatory frameworks to manage methane emissions and gas flaring effectively. These gaps hinder resource efficiency and climate alignment.
Carbon Limits provides technical advisory services to government institutions across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, supporting the design of procedures and regulations to reduce emissions from oil and gas operations. The work includes capacity building through multi-day workshops and on-demand guidance tailored to national contexts. In Uganda, Carbon Limits delivered a five-day workshop on emissions management and monitoring for oil and gas exploration and production. Advisory services extend to Colombia, Ghana, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Nepal, and Malawi, focusing on methane and gas flaring reduction.
This work is relevant for environment ministries, regulatory agencies, and development partners supporting resource governance and emissions management in emerging producer countries.
