As per OGMP 2.0, member companies are seeking to report and potentially reach Gold Standard by following the highest reporting standards. In addition, companies must develop and submit a methane emissions reduction plan and a 3-year roadmap detailing how they will reach this goal. Carbon Limits supported an O&G company based in Southeast Asia in achieving compliance with OGMP, helping the company to publicly signal its ongoing efforts to transparently report and reduce methane emissions from operations. As part of this effort, Carbon Limits provided support to the development of a methane emissions inventory, annual report preparation, gap analysis, and creation of methane implementation and reduction plans.
