Project description

The workshop aimed at addressing the specific issues oil and gas producing countries need to deal with as parties to the Paris Agreement and how policies, regulations and practical work related to climate change can be coordinated and integrated with other relevant parts of petroleum sector management. More specifically, it aimed at providing further support to Oil for Development partner countries on issues related to estimation of GHG emissions for the purpose of national inventory, as well as systems for monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) of such emissions.

Carbon Limits is responsible for preparation of technical training materials for the workshop, including presentations, training exercises and supporting reference documents. In addition, Carbon Limits delivers the training and participates in moderation of the workshop to stimulate active participation and improve learning outcomes.
