Development of the Technical Guidance Documents for OGMP 2.0

Project description
OGMP (Oil and Gas Methane Partnership) , led by CATF and UNEP, is a voluntary partnership for oil and gas companies throughout the world to quantify and report their methane emissions according to common principles, to improve transparency and accuracy. The aim of this project is to provide guidance to OGMP companies on how to quantify their methane emissions from all core sources throughout the oil and gas value chain.
Carbon Limits produced a series of technical guidance documents including for sources that were already part of OGMP 1.0 as well as new sources, covering the main emission points for the entire oil and gas value chain. The technical guides present, for each source, how to quantify methane emissions for Level 3 (emission factors) and Level 4 (measurements) to allow companies to reach gold standard, as provided by the OGMP framework.
