Carbon Limits supported IOGP in developing a compendium of methane emission reduction technologies and solutions - a practical, technology-neutral knowledge hub for the oil and gas sector. The compendium organizes methane mitigation technologies and operational solutions according to relevant OGMP 2.0 emission source categories and provides standardized summaries of their applications, technical considerations, and mitigation potential. By bringing together information from leading industry resources into a single, accessible reference, the compendium helps operators, regulators, and other stakeholders identify and understand effective approaches for reducing methane emissions across the oil and gas value chain.
