Project description

The World Bank Partnership for Market Implementation (PMI) supported technical assistance to the Government of Senegal to apply its Article 6 Strategy through the development of a Marginal Abatement Cost Curve (MACC) which assesses the mitigation potential of relevant technologies and their associated incremental costs.

Carbon Limits was tasked to lead the development of a MACC tool for Senegal, covering 36 measures across the energy, industry, waste, AFOLU, transport, buildings and households sectors. Carbon Limits also provided training for Government of Senegal stakeholders on the MACC tool.
