Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is often presented as a key solution for reducing emissions from hard-to-abate sectors, but developing a CCS project is far from straightforward. This course explains how the CCS value chain works, from CO₂ capture to transport and permanent storage, and explores the technical and economic factors that determine project feasibility. 

Designed for decision-makers and professionals without a technical background, it provides a practical understanding of CCS technologies, costs, risks, and deployment challenges. By the end of the course, participants will be able to understand the main components of a CCS project, evaluate key feasibility drivers, and engage more confidently in CCS-related discussions and decision-making.
