Prioritizing Methane Mitigation

Training description
This training introduces Marginal Abatement Cost Curves (MACCs) as a practical tool for evaluating and prioritising methane mitigation projects.
Content: Participants compare mitigation opportunities based on emissions-reduction potential, investment requirements, financial returns, regulatory drivers and operational considerations. Working from different organisational perspectives, they explore how priorities can vary across finance, compliance and operations functions and develop a better understanding of the role and limitations of MACCs in methane mitigation planning.
Format: In person
Who is this for: Designed for both technical and non-technical professionals, the training aims to build methane expertise and strengthen a global community of practitioners working to reduce emissions.
This activity forms part of Carbon Limits’ Methane Camp but can also be delivered as a standalone training.
