Training description

This training provides a practical introduction to the European Union Methane Regulation (EU-MER) and its implications for oil and gas companies supplying energy to the European market. 

Content: Participants will gain an understanding of the regulation's objectives, scope, monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) requirements, leak detection and repair obligations, importer requirements, and the links between EUMR compliance and internationally recognized frameworks such as OGMP 2.0. 

The training is designed to help organizations understand both the technical and organizational steps required to achieve compliance while maintaining market access and supporting methane transparency objectives.

Format: Pre-recorded sessions on an online platform followed by a live session with methane experts from Carbon Limits. 

Languages: Indicated available languages are applicable to pre-recorded modules. Live sessions can be delivered online or in-person in English, Arabic, French, Russian, and Spanish.
