Lauren specializes in methane emissions management and decarbonization in the oil and gas sector. Her work includes methane inventories, satellite-based emissions monitoring, emissions quantification and reporting, mitigation strategy development, technology assessments, regulatory compliance and reporting frameworks such as the EU Methane Regulation and OGMP 2.0, and capacity building for industry and government stakeholders. Lauren has managed and supported projects across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America, supporting organizations in strengthening methane management practices and advancing emissions reduction objectives. Prior to joining Carbon Limits in 2023, she spent six years as an environmental engineering consultant, delivering remediation, regulatory compliance, and project management services for oil and gas, industrial, and energy-sector clients. Lauren graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle with a BSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending her time outside – hiking and backpacking are a couple of her favorite hobbies, and she is determined to improve her skiing skills now that she’s in Norway.
