Project description

Development of a comprehensive facility‑level MRV Readiness Roadmap for Uzbekistan’s future Emissions Trading System (ETS), including analysis of the regulatory, institutional, and technical framework; mapping of existing MRV initiatives; design of an analytical framework for pilot MRV implementation; and identification of priority actions, sequencing, and costed recommendations for establishing a scalable, internationally aligned MRV system. Assignment scope:  structured stakeholder engagement across government and industry, detailed gap assessments of legal and institutional arrangements, evaluation of data and IT infrastructure needs, and preparation of an actionable roadmap and policy brief to support Uzbekistan’s gradual transition toward an ETS‑compatible MRV architecture.
