SPAR6C Guide on Developing an Article 6 host party institutional framework

Project description

Carbon Limits led the design and drafting of Toolbox Guide 3 within the SPAR6C program, providing host countries with actionable steps to establish institutional arrangements grounded in existing capacities. The guidance defines roles and procedures for the authorization, transfer, tracking, accounting and reporting of mitigation outcomes, and outlines key considerations for registry development, capacity building, and other operational preparations needed for effective implementation.

Oversee the overall design of the guides, lead the drafting of the guide on Using Article with carbon pricing instruments: 3 key policy issues for host parties, coordinate feedback with consortium members and BMUKN, liaise with the copyeditor and layout team, and present the guide across various fora.
