Project description

Carbon Limits supported the Norwegian Environment Agency in the quality assurance, maintenance, and update of the KiN (Klimatiltak i Norge - Climate Measures in Norway in English) agricultural mitigation assessment framework. The work includes verification of mitigation measure calculations, review of assumptions and input data, validation of results against inventory and projection data, investigation of anomalies, and implementation of methodological improvements. KiN is used to assess the impact of different climate mitigation measures in future agricultural emissions, identify emission reduction opportunity and track progress towards Norway’s emission reduction targets and policy objectives.
