GHG Registry and Carbon Transaction in Jordan

Project description
Carbon Limits works closely with Jordan’s Ministry of Environment to finalize the country’s Article 6 strategy, collaborating with key national stakeholders to strengthen institutional and regulatory readiness. We analyze existing frameworks, climate‑related bylaws, and strategic needs to support Jordan’s effective participation in international carbon markets.
Our team also builds national capacity by helping develop procedures and screening criteria to identify projects in Jordan that may qualify for Article 6 and other international carbon market mechanisms. We design tailored materials for capacity‑building activities and lead hands‑on training workshops to equip government teams with the knowledge and tools required to engage confidently in carbon market governance.
