Project description

The project is a strategic study commissioned by IEAGHG and carried out by Carbon Limits to evaluate  financing mechanisms and policy frameworks for regional CO2 transport networks. It aims to support the scale-up of CCS, CCU, and CDR infrastructure. The analysis covers the European Union (EU), Norway, the United Kingdom (UK), Asia-Pacific (APAC), and North America, drawing on recent project experiences, stakeholder interviews, and literature review to identify key risks, lessons learnt, and actionable recommendations.
