Project description

The aim of the project is to design and deliver a GHG accounting system, with the core deliverable being a spreadsheet-based accounting tool, which allows the AfDB to transparently and as accurately as possible track emissions of GHGs associated with projects funded by the Bank. The tool integrates best practice and reflects the work of the International Financial Institutions (IFIs) Carbon Footprint Working Group that aims to harmonize GHG accounting practices across IFIs.
