Project description

The assignment aims to identify, assess, and support the development of high-integrity blue carbon and marine mitigation activities eligible for ITMO generation under Article 6. It contributes to GGGI’s collaboration with the Republic of Korea’s (ROK) Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF) to move forward with Article 6 mitigation activities in the blue carbon and marine sector. Ultimately, this work supports Korea’s efforts to achieve the ambitious portion of its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) through Article 6 cooperation.
