Project description

This consultancy service aims to deliver Level 1 training in methane emissions detection, measurement, and mitigation for African countries engaged in the oil and gas value chain. The project focuses on strengthening the technical capacity of AU Member States in methane detection, measurement, monitoring, reporting, and verification. It includes the development and delivery of tailored training modules to beneficiary countries, as well as the establishment of monitoring and evaluation criteria to assess the impact of capacity building on knowledge enhancement and the implementation of effective methane emissions reduction measures.
