The purpose of JSC TNK-BP Holding’s (TNK-BP’s) proposed JI project is to recover and market lowpressure(LP) associated petroleum gases (APG) that is currently being flared from the last stages of separation at oil treatment sites within the Samotlor oilfield, thereby reducing flaring of APG in the oilfield and emissions of GHG to the atmosphere.
The project is under number 1 in the list of projects, approved by Russian Ministry of Economic development
The other party will be determined at a later stage.
