The Project Objective is to identify and analyse potential projects for reduction of Black Carbon emissions from flaring in the Russian Arctic. The Project will provide an update of the level and location of associated gas flaring in Russia and screen for projects with the best prospects for implementation through collaborative efforts with international institutions such as NEFCO. The Project should particularly target investments that can create notable black carbon emission reductions.
