The project financed by the Ministry of Foreign affairs in Norway, evaluated alternative policy regimes for monetization of emission reductions in the petroleum sector post-2012. The project included the following tasks:
- Assessment of GHG emission sources,
- Comparison of GHG emission inventory standards and reporting practices
- Review of the abatement costs studies,
- Review of relevant regulatory practices and incentive structures
