Carbon Limits presented at the Rogaland County Board the results of its study on the development of biogas in the region

On  October 23rd, Torleif Haugland presented to the Rogaland County Board (Rogaland Fylkesutvalg) the results from the project performed for the Rogaland County Municipality (Rogaland Fylkeskommune) and Biogass Konsortium AS on the development of a biogas market in the county.  The study had 3 objectives:

  1. Explain which markets and uses for biogas are relevant in Rogaland and consider how the county municipality can help develop these markets as both actors and supporters.
  2. Assess how existing infrastructure, both natural gas networks and raw gas networks, can help support increased use of biogas in the county.
  3.  Explain what increased production and use of biogas in Rogaland has to say for the overall environmental and climate accountability of the county.

This project was done in partnership with Endrava, THEMA and Skagerak Naturgass.
